A public presentation from musician and music scholar Dr. Allan Kirby about traditional folk music in rural Ontario that will combine musical performances of some of these folk songs with the historical context behind them. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and then the annual general meeting, which is only open to Trent Valley Archives members. Light refreshments will be provided.
