A session designed to provide practical guidance on the municipal election process, including candidate and third party advertiser responsibilities. Attendees will learn about nomination and registration requirements, campaign rules, financial obligations, and compliance considerations. The session will feature "Municipal Government 101" presentation delivered by municipal law expert John Mascarin, representatives from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, and the Clerk and Deputy Clerk from the Town of Cobourg.
