The Ontario government has appointed singer-songwriter and record label owner Missy Knott of Curve Lake First Nation to the Ontario Arts Council, an agency that operates at arm's length from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport and provides grants and services to professional Ontario-based artists and arts organizations.
