Musical Theatre: Tweed & Company Theatre presents "Anne of Green Gables - The Musical" beginning at 2:00 pm at Bancroft Village Playhouse (5 Hastings St. S., Bancroft, K0L 1C0). Canada's longest-running and most popular musical comes to Bancroft. Based on the beloved novel by L.M. Montgomery, "Anne of Green Gables - The Musical" follows the precocious and imaginative Anne Shirley as she captures the hearts and minds of her newfound family and neighbours, simply by virtue of her own pluck and personality. Evening performances at 7 p.m. from July 17 to 20 and July 24 to 27 with matinee performances at 2 p.m. on July 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, and 28 (a relaxed performance).
