Musical Theatre: Tweed & Company Theatre presents "Hook: A New Family Musical" at Bancroft Village Playhouse (5 Hastings St. S., Bancroft, K0L 1C0). In the grand British pantomine tradition where audiences cheer the hero and boo the villain, "Hook" shifts the focus of the timeless classic Peter Pan to focus on the anti-hero, the one and only Captain Hook. This production will feature flashy musical numbers, outrageous costumes, comedy, magic, and mayhem, and, of course, the audience is part of the show in the family production. Evening performances at 7 p.m. from December 10 - 13 and 18 - 20 with 2 p.m. matinee performances on December 11, 13 and 14, and 20.
