Musical Theatre: Christine Helferty presents "Past the Limit" by Christine Helferty at Peterborough Theatre Guild (364 Rogers St., Peterborough, K9H 1W7). Heartbroken writer Jen Kenney (Christine Helferty) and hopeful entrepreneur Daniel Fabbri (Dr. Mark Wilkinson) haven't seen each other in 10 years when they meet on the steps of St. Patrick's Church. They develop a relationship and Jen finds herself stepping into Daniel's world of light and joy. As sufferings inevitably come their way, they push past the limits of their love to find meaning, faith, truth, and healing. With catchy tunes, heartfelt lyrics, and poignant scenes that honour the every-day heroism of married love, "Past the Limit" is a musical for those who seek to "choose joy" and find the extraordinary in the ordinary.
