Fundraiser: YWCA Peterborough Haliburton presents Walk a Mile in Their Shoes beginning at 12:00 pm at Confederation Square (500 George St. N., Peterborough, K9H). Support survivors of gender-based violence in this fun community event raising funds for YWCA Peterborough Haliburton's HER Journey of Care. Wear your best red shoes and walk with community as either a solo walker or as a team. Participant check-in begins at 11 a.m. Cost: $40 to register ($25 for students) before May 1, $50 after.
