Environment: Repair Cafe Peterborough presents May Repair Cafe beginning at 1:00 pm at Dreams of Beans (141 Charlotte St., Peterborough, K9J 2T6). Whether it's a finicky toaster, a wobbly chair, a ripped seam or hole in a favourite piece of clothing, bring your broken items and volunteers will do their best to breathe new life into them or will help people make their own repairs. It's a great way to reduce waste, learn new skills, and connect with your community. Cost: Free, but donations for repair materials are accepted.
