Lecture: Peterborough Historical Society (PHS) Speaker Series presents "A Life's Work on Ice: Preserving the Flooded F.L. Roy Film Collection" by Bo Pickett beginning at 7:30 pm at Peterborough Lions Community Centre (347 Burnham St., Peterborough, K9J 1T5). Bo Pickett will deliver a talk on the subject of the Peterborough Museum & Archives exhibit "Films from the Freezer: Preserving F.L. Roy's Cinematic Legacy," which is based on his 2025 major research project to complete his Master's in Film Preservation at TMU. Accompanying the talk will be a presentation of one of the restored films. Cost: Free admission, but donations are welcome.
