Theatre: Capitol Theatre presents "Playlist" by Ivan Coyote beginning at 2:00 pm at Sculthorpe Theatre at Capitol Theatre Arts Centre (20 Queen St., Port Hope, L1A 2Y7). Writer and performer Ivan Coyote has crafted a playlist of stories that sing to us about how they managed to discover a coded but very possible queer future hidden in the music coming out of the AM radio in the kitchen, lurking in their parent's record collection, and leaking out of the lyrics in their elementary school musical. Combining Coyote's equal parts hilarious and heartbreaking stories, "Playlist" will have you hitting rewind on the list of songs that helped shape you. Evening performances at 7:30 p.m. August 11 to 14 with 2 p.m. matinee performances August 12 and 14 and 15. Cost: Season subscription packages available for $165 - $515, with 15% off until December 31. Single tickets on sale in early 2027.
