Fundraiser: Amy and Rick Kemp present 5th Annual Cancer Takedown beginning at 8:00 pm at Market Hall Performing Arts Centre (140 Charlotte St., Peterborough, K9H 7E8). Cancer Takedown is both a fundraiser for cancer care at Peterborough Regional Health Centre and a spirit-raiser for anyone touched by cancer, bringing attention to the emotional and mental burden of cancer. Co-hosted by Linda Kash and Megan Murphy, the evening features performances by Melissa Payne, Kate Suhr, and Kate Brioux with a band consisting of Nicholas Campbell, Brandon Munroe, and Ian McKeown, special guests Beau Dixon and The Weber Brothers, Anthony Bastianon, Good Medicine, and Kim Dafoe.
