Do you have a wood-and-canvas canoe at home that needs a little love? Participants in the canoe restoration clinic will learn how to re-canvas a wood-and-canvas canoe and perform basic structural repairs (for example; replacing a rib, or repairing damaged planking) while being immersed in the world's largest collection of canoes, kayaks and paddled watercraft. Interested participants may bring their own canoe for a thorough analysis and diagnosis, and will leave with all the experience necessary to repair, re-canvas, fill and finish their own canoe. Participants will not be working on their own canoes during the clinic. You do not need to bring a canoe to the clinic to participate. Sources for supplies and materials will be provided.
