An opening reception for a solo exhibition by queer and trans artist Adrien Crossman that is an homage to the queer bar as a site of collective memory, resilience, and imagination. Presented with the support of the Ontario Arts Council and Superframe, this new body of work positions the gay bar not just as a space of nightlife, but as a sacred site of queer and trans gathering, mourning, protest, and celebration. The opening reception features a special activation of a gay bar space, with the exhibit continuing until November 22.
