Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre and partnering community organizations will host their annual Take Back the Night (TBTN) advocacy and awareness event in Nogojiwanong-Peterborough. This year's theme is "Rage and Resistance." The event will begin from 5 - 6:30 p.m. with a variety of community agencies sharing information about their resources and how people can connect for support. There will also be art supplies for making posters for the march later in the evening. From 6:30 - 9 p.m. there will be poems, speakers, and performers followed by a candle-lit solidarity march. This event is open to everyone of all genders to come to participate, learn, and advocate for social change. Light refreshments will be available for participants.
