The Peterborough Symphony Orchestra opens its 2025-26 season with a concert featuring the Overture to the Barber of Seville, a comical mini-masterpiece by Gioachino Rossini, Canadian composer Dinuk Wijertane's Concerto for Tabla and Orchestra with guest artist Shawn Mativetsky on tabla, and Mozart’s final Symphony, no. 41 "Jupiter." There will be a Meet the Maestro pre-concert talk with conductor Michael Newnham at 6:45 p.m.
