Prior to the 10th Anniversary Book + Zine Fest, bookbinder and artist Stuart Hill of George Hill & Co is presenting a workshop on how to make a Nemoralis, a medieval record-keeping book. The cover is of folded construction made from heavy paper and is held closed with a leather cord. The sections of the book are sewn directly to the cover with a unique free-form sewing pattern that includes a final gathering.
