The afternoon's program opens with Georges Bizet's "Symphony in C" followed by the Maurice Ravel's "Pavane pour une infante défunte" and Gabriel Fauré's "Pelléas et Mélisande Suite, Op. 80." Featured soloist Robert Conquer joins the orchestra for "Concerto pour trombone" by Canadian composer Jacques Hétu. A "Meet the Maestro" pre-concert talk takes place at 2:15 p.m.
