E. P. Dowdall's adaptation of Miklós László's "Parfumerie" is a warm romantic comedy set in a Budapest perfume shop shortly before Christmas. Co-workers George and Amalia constantly quarrel, unaware that they are also the anonymous pen pals who have fallen in love through their letters, while misunderstandings and workplace turmoil complicate their path to happiness.
