David Yee's "Among Men" imagines Canadian poets Al Purdy and Milton Acorn building an A-frame cabin on Roblin Lake in Prince Edward County in 1959, before either man achieved literary fame. Fuelled by whiskey, words, affection, and rivalry, the drama explores their complicated friendship and the creative struggle that would help reshape Canadian poetry.
