A run/walk event for all ages and abilities on the Kawartha Rail Trail with 1k, 5k, and 10k distances. T-shirts and a wood finishers medal are available to all runners as well as a light snack buffet and a free massage. Gently used shoes will be collected by Bioped on race morning and repurposed to the less fortunate. Overall top three winners in the 10k event will compete for a prize money with a total purse of $2,000. The event is also a fundraiser for Women's Resources Kawartha Lakes, an organization that supports women and children at risk.
