The Vintage Film Festival is an annual fundraising event presented by the Marie Dressler Foundation. Every October, classic movie lovers gather in Port Hope to experience timeless films as they were meant to be seen, on the big screen in the historic Capitol Theatre. With the theme "Best Dressed," this year's festival features "Blow Up" (1966), "101 Dalmatians" (1961), "Dracula" (1931), "The Tramp" (1915), "Around the World in 80 Days" (1956), "The Heiress" (1949), "Funny Face" (1957), "The Seven Year Itch" (1955), "Carrie" (1976), "The Sheik" (1921), "The Red Shoes" (1948), "8 1/2" (1963), and "Fashions of 1934" (1934), as well as a Sunday lunchtime film talk with costume designer Alexander Reda.
