Summer Company Launch
The annual batch of Summer Company student entrepreneurs is set to launch this Wednesday (June 29th) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Staples on Park Street.
A program of Peterborough Economic Development’s Business Advisory Centre, Summer Company gives young business people a micro-grant from the Ontario government to help kick start their summer company. The program has seen tremendous success over the years and it’s always great to see these young entrepreneurs and their new ideas.
That’s this Wednesday from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. Staples, 109 Park Street South (corner of Park and Lansdowne).

Living Well Home Medical Equipment
Living Well Home Medical Equipment is hosting their first seniors appreciation event in their new larger, brighter location on the corner of Erskine and the Kingsway this Wednesday (June 29th) from 1 to 3 p.m.

Cambium
Cambium, the consulting and engineering firm, has just opened their fifth office in Kingston. The Kingston office joins Barrie, Oshawa, and two locations in Peterborough, with over 80 employees.

Chemong Golf Centre
Chemong Golf Centre is under new ownership and has undergone a major facelift over the last year.Owners Craig and Sarah Sargeant and the kids Adam and Claire have rebuilt the range including new grass, yardage signs and brand new golf balls. It’s a complete practice facility with chipping, putting, sand trap and both grass tees and matts. Professional lessons are also available.
