Workshop: Peterborough Theatre Guild presents "The Living Voice - Present, Powerful, Personal" with Heather Dick beginning at 10:30 am at Peterborough Theatre Guild (364 Rogers St., Peterborough, K9H 1W7). An introduction to the Linklater voice method for actors, singers, storytellers, and directors. Learn a progression of physical, tactile, and imaginative exercises that will help you to become more grounded, alive, present and vocally connected to your thoughts and feelings both on and off the stage. The first session is an introduction to natural voice work and the goal of the Linklater method and the second session is a warm-up that will be a full review of the progression. Note: there will be an hour-long break for lunch during each session. Cost: $60 per session ($40 for Peterborough Theatre Guild members) or $120 for both sessions ($80 for Peterborough Theatre Guild members).
