Fundraiser: Community Care Peterborough presents 4th Annual Gaming Night beginning at 6:00 pm at North Kawartha Community Centre (340 McFadden Rd., Apsley, K0L 1A0). Designed to bring together local and seasonal residents for an evening of friendly competition and community spirit, Gaming Night features classic games like Blackjack, Crown and Anchor, and Money Wheel, along with prizes, appetizers catered by The Grape and Wedge, and a cash bar operated by the Apsley Lions Club. Mayor Carolyn Amyotte and members of North Kawartha Council will once again serve as volunteer dealers. Guests are invited to test their luck and "beat the Mayor" at the Blackjack table. Doors open at 6 p.m., with games beginning at 7 p.m. Cost: $20 (tickets available at Community Care Peterborough's Apsley office inside the Thrift Store and Kemp's Garage).
