Local Shopping: Peterborough Downtown Business Improvement Area (DBIA) presents Second Saturday Sidewalk Sale beginning at 12:00 pm in Peterborough. A sidewalk sales in downtown Peterborough. Two blocks of George Street, from Brock Street in the north to Simcoe Street in the south, will be closed to motor vehicles. Along with shopping opportunities and special promotions at downtown businesses, the sidewalk sale will also feature pop-up street vendors and community activities.
