Concert: Capitol Theatre presents "I'm Every Woman: The Whitney Houston Songbook" at Capitol Theatre Arts Centre (20 Queen St., Port Hope, L1A 2Y7). Capitol Theatre favourite Taylor Lovelace (Waitress, Little Shop of Horrors, A Year with Frog & Toad, Billboard in Concert) pays tribute to one of the most defining artists of the 20th century in this musical celebration of women's voices. Told through personal anecdotes, family stories, and Taylor's own voice, she shares what it means to find strength in the dark times, and celebrate the successes of a woman in the world. Featuring "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," "So Emotional," "I'm Every Woman", "I Have Nothing," "I Will Always Love You" and many more. Developed in the Capitol Theatre's 2024 Creators' Unit by Taylor Lovelace and directed by Rob Kempson with music supervision by Jeff Newberry. Evening performances at 7:30 p.m. from October 22 to 24 with matinee performances at 2 p.m. on October 24 and 25. Cost: $55 ($45 under 30) plus fees.
