Concert: Westben presents Songs of the Earth - Meghan Lindsay and Carson Becke beginning at 2:00 pm at The Barn at Westben (6698 County Road 30, Campbellford, K0L 1L0). Songs of the Earth brings Canadian soprano Meghan Lindsay and pianist-composer Carson Becke together to pair Richard Strauss's Four Last Songs with Becke's The Forest, a song cycle based on six newly commissioned poems by Gatineau-Hills-based poets, which pays homage to trees and the deep relationships we have with them.
