Film: Peterborough Downtown Business Improvement Area (DBIA) and Peterborough Tourism present Movies at the Park - "Back to the Future" (1985) beginning at 8:00 pm at Quaker Foods City Square (Charlotte St. east of Alymer St., Peterborough, K9J 8R9). Free outdoor movies every Tuesday evening from July through August. Movies will begin at dusk (8:30 p.m. in July and 8 p.m. in August). Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Local businesses will be offering snacks, beverages, and treats. In "Back to the Future", a teenager is sent 30 years into the past in a time-travelling DeLorean and, after inadvertently preventing his dad from meeting his mom, must fix the situation before he vanishes from the future.
