Day Camp: Compass Early Learning & Care and Kawartha Land Trust present Forest & Nature Day Camp beginning at 8:30 am at Kawartha Land Trust - Dance Nature Sanctuary (2027 Preston Rd, Selwyn, K0L 2H0). Compass Early Learning & Care believes children deserve the freedom to connect with nature and gain an understanding of their role in the ecosystem, as well as the positive impact nature has on wellbeing and mental health. The camp offers 4 to 12 year olds opportunities to immerse themselves in natural beauty. Held in partnership with Kawartha Land Trust to foster ecological identity through offering child-led, unstructured time to deepen their reciprocal relationships with nature and each other.
