Fundraiser: Capitol Theatre presents "Stronger Together: Stay ABreast" beginning at 6:00 pm at Capitol Theatre Arts Centre (20 Queen St., Port Hope, L1A 2Y7). Dedicated to raising awareness, providing support, and empowering individuals and families affected by breast cancer, the inspiring evening featres powerful personal stories, expert insights, and community connection. This community event is a fundraiser benefiting both Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation and the Survivor Thrivers dragon boating team. Proceeds will help modernize the breast health program at NHH by supporting investments in a new 3D mammography unit, wire-free breast tissue localization technology, a bone mineral density scanner, and an ultrasound machine. Funds will also help the Survivor Thrivers purchase a new boat for their team of local individuals living with a breast cancer diagnosis. Cost: $55.
