Politics: Metroland Media and Peterborough and Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce present Electionfest beginning at 6:00 pm at Healthy Planet Arena (911 Monaghan Rd., Peterborough, K9J 5K6). The event is designed to give voters a chance to individually ask questions and meet candidates. All candidates campaigning for ward councillor and to be the next mayor of Peterborough have been invited to attend and set up information booths where the public is free to visit, gather information, and ask questions that are important to them to make an informed decision at the polls. Trustee candidates for the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and the Peterborough, Victoria, Northumberland and Clarington Catholic School Board have also been invited. Cost: Free.
