Education: One City Peterborough presents "De-Escalation Techniques in Practice" beginning at 9:00 am at Trinity Community Centre (360 Reid St., Peterborough, K9H 7G6). One City's Community Education courses are open to everyone, including working professionals, community advocates, and anyone who wants to be a good neighbour. This course offers techniques that can be used to de-escalate situations that could become violent, in a way that instead builds connection. Cost: Pay what you can.
