Film: Film Access Northumberland presents The Art of Adventure: An Evening of Film & Conversation beginning at 7:00 pm at The Concert Hall at Victoria Hall (55 King St. W., Cobourg, K9A 2M2). "The Art of Adventure" is an inspiring documentary chronicling the 1957 global expedition of renowned wildlife artist Robert Bateman and biologist Bristol Foster aboard their Land Rover. Their extraordinary journey became the foundation for a lifetime of conservation advocacy. Director Alison Reid will attend to speak about the film during a discussion moderated by CBC radio documentarian and author Karin Wells. Sponsored by MNP, the evening's proceeds will support Film Access Northumberland's First Takes youth filmmaking program in Northumberland high schools. Cost: $20.
