Dinnertainment: Hystory Entertainment presents "A Masque of Secrets" beginning at 5:30 pm at Coboconk Community Centre (9 Grandy Road, Coboconk, K0M 1K0). The second chapter in the Birchwood Estate Victorian murder mystery dinner theatre experience, "A Masque of Secrets" is set in 1892 when Miss Beatrice Whitcombe's coming-out ball turns deadly. Mingle with suspects, trad rumours, and try to catch the killer before the clock strikes nine. Masquerade masks and Victoria attire encouraged. Terry Thomas of Raven Lunatic Tintype Photography will also set up his wet-plate studio on the stage, and ticket holders can have their tintype taken in costume and mask during the evening, paying for their portraits separately from their ticket. Evening sittings are limited. Thomas's studio will also be open to the public from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. both days, where visitors can watch a live demonstration of the wet-plate collodion process then sit for a portrait of their own. Cost: $95 for dinner and show. Optional tintype portraits are $60 for a 4x5 inch plate and $90 for a 5x7 inch plate.
