Peterborough Cycling Club presents Wednesday "Cyclocross Skills/Workout"

Date:Wednesdays
Time:6:30 p.m.
Location:    Peterborough
Cost:PCC Membership is required

Cyclocross is the fastest growing two-wheeled sport in North America – and a great way to extend your riding season in the Fall. The Wednesday night MiniCross Ride is a great way to learn the basics of cyclocross, prepare for the PCC Cross Series, and have a great workout. The Wednesday Night MiniCross will begin late August. Rides in August and early September have a focus on skills development – dismounts, barriers, cornering – Rides will later incorporate an interval style workout with skills practice mixed in. MiniCross rides meet at 6:30 p.m. at Olympus Park in the north end and usually last about an hour. PCC membership is required, helmets are mandatory. A cyclocross bike or mountain bike will be adequate. This ride does go rain or shine – it is cyclocross afterall. Ride leader is Jamie Elcombe.
