Come and meet Professor Pricklethorn and learn about the secret lives of trees. Through his green coloured lenses you will see beyond the bark and appreciate trees in a much different light. The Professor will help you discover the many benefits that can be gained by planting the right trees and providing proper care for trees in our towns and cities. As an Internationally certified arborist, and self-professed arborfessor, Professor Pricklethorn will show you why trees are just not a piece of green landscape furniture. You will soon learn why the urban tree is the most underrated and overlooked life-enhancing natural resource on this TREEmendous planet of ours. Trees are the ultimate environmental workhorse. By the time the Professor gets to the roots of the topic, you’ll be singing, “Give trees a chance.” Fundraising BBQ from 12 to 1 p.m. Professor Pricklethorn will be on hand at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
