2019 Juno Award-nominated country-pop duo The Reklaws have taken the country music by storm since the 2017 release of their debut major label single Hometown Kids. Having opened shows for the likes of Blake Shelton and Dierks Bentley, The Reklaws’ 2018 single Long Live The Night was certified gold on its way to being the most streamed Canadian country song of that year. Emily Reid is not unlike a Canadian tuxedo – a pop-country recording artist sounds strange at first but once you try it on, it’s pure magic. After graduating from college in 2012, the Victoria, BC native split her time between Nashville and Toronto. After she landed the series final duet of Austin and Ally, BMG signed her in 2015. Now with Universal Music Canada, Reid recorded an EP with Cameron Jaymes, releasing her debut single Good Time Being A Woman just this past April.
