Said The Whale – guitarists Bancroft and Worcester with keyboardist Jaycelyn Brown – arrive in Peterborough on the heels of the February release of Cascadia, its sixth studio album, and the new album’s first single Record Shop.Recipient of the New Group of the Year statue at the 2011 Juno Awards, Said The Whale’s studio work has highlighted the contrast between Bancroft’s eclectic rock influences and Worcester’s folksiness, their distinct styles meshing to become one.Formed in 2017, Paper Shakers – Jack Sole, Michael Hall, Whitney Hall, Luke Benjamin and David St. Pierre – consistently deliver a dynamic performance featuring energetic alt rock anthems that hook audiences with a heart-thumping beat, such as that featured on the singled Mona Lisa and Don’t Stop
