The Electric City Culture Council (EC3) has identified an urgent need to provide some immediate, emergency income support to individual professional artists who have lost arts-related revenue due to the COVID-19 epidemic in the City and County of Peterborough. The purpose of the grant is to provide some financial relief for artists with little or no income in the short term, due to cancellation of arts events, exhibitions, tours, commissions, contracts, classes, venue closures, workshops, etc., until federal funds such as the Canadian Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) are accessible to more artists and cultural workers and until the actual dollars arrive. Grant valued up to $250 are available.
