The first community theatre project by Bancroft Village Playhouse featuring a cast of local talent is also its inaugural Halloween production. In the quiet town of Sleepy Hollow, schoolteacher Ichabod Crane is pining after the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel. Meanwhile the strange legend of a headless Hessian swirls around the quaint village of Sleepy Hollow. Against the town's will, Ichabod's fate is left to the Horseman himself. This ensemble-based piece features haunting tales, eerie music, and scary fun. Performances at 7 p.m. October 26 to 28 with a 2 p.m. matinee performance on October 28. Suitable for most audiences, except for very young children.
