In 2008 at the age of 32, Michael Nathaniel Green experienced his first episode of schizophrenia. He has spent subsequent years navigating his way out of that difficult, consuming, and confusing period. This exhibition is about building strength, resilience, and courage through kindness towards yourself and others. Through sculpture and installation work, Michael explores the parts of one's self one might not like to face. How can one deal more productively with the emotions schizophrenia conjures? An opening reception will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on September 24.
