In the early 1970s, before the Violence Against Women Act, Agnes has turned her quiet bed and breakfast into a home where victims of domestic violence can seek refuge. But Agnes is dismayed when her college-bound daughter falls under the influence of the home's newest arrival. As the feminist revolution gains momentum outside of her tiny world, Agnes is forced to confront her own presumptions about the women she has spent her life trying to help. Directed by Anne-Marie Bouthillette, this play will resonate for an audience seeking theatre that challenges and provokes. Evening performances at 7:30 p.m. on May 24 and 25, May 31 and June 1, and June 6 to 8, with 2 p.m. matinee performances on May 26, June 2, and June 9.
