This British black comedy directed by Thea Sharrock and written by Jonny Sweet is set in the town of Littlehampton where people are receiving hilariously profane letters. The year is 1920 and everyone is offended, especially the deeply conservative Edith Swan (Olivia Colman). Who is suspected of writing these letters? The rowdy, foul-mouthed Irish migrant Rose Gooding (Jessie Buckley) of course. These two neighbours, along with a team of female police officers led by Gladys Moss (Anjana Vasan), conduct an unforgettable investigation to discover the truth. Screenings at 2 and 7 p.m.
