City of Kawartha Lakes presents Fall Curbside Textile Pick-up

The purpose of curbside textile recycling is to help divert clothing, footwear, and linens from ending up in our landfills. Ripped and stained items will be accepted for recycling. Residents whose regular waste collection day is a Thursday, can book their textile pickup for October 7, Monday for October 8, Tuesday for October 9, and Wednesday for October 10. On your designated collection day, place your textiles in clear bags at the curb no later than 7 a.m.
