Kawartha Lakes Arts Council and Launch Kawartha present StART Up Workshop for Artists

David Cowdery, Business Advisor and Program Manager for Launch Kawartha, will lead a workshop on his StART Up program for artists on running a successful business. This workshop equips freelance artists with pricing strategies, client management skills, and insights into artistic value propositions and market forces, using Lean Canvas principles tailored to their landscape. Participants gain a deeper understanding of how these principles apply to the art world, enhancing their business acumen to thrive independently in the creative economy. This workshop has been rescheduled from April 10.
