Meet the winners and runners up in all six categories including Emerging Artist, Mid-Career Artist, Senior Artist, Indigenous Artist, Arts Champion, and Arts Catalyst. The Peterborough Arts Awards were established to honour and recognize excellence and outstanding achievement by professional artists, arts organizations, and arts supporters living and working in Peterborough city and county. Six cash awards of $2,000 each are presented, with winners selected by a peer jury from a multi-disciplinary pool of nominated candidates. Two runners-up in each category will each receive $250. Featuring canapes and cocktails, pop-up performances by some of the city's best artists, and guest speaker Missy Knott, acclaimed musician and Ontario Arts Council Board member.
