City of Peterborough, RBC Wealth Management, and Peterborough GreenUP present Trees 4 Peterborough Community Tree Planting Event

Volunteers from across the community are invited to help plant approximately 500 native trees in support of efforts to expand Peterborough's urban forest by creating contiguous tree cover along Riverview Creek in Heritage Park. Donations and support for the event include a $10,000 donation from RBC Wealth Management, a $5,000 donation from The Excelsior Group, lunch provided by East Side Mario's, and equipment provided by Merrett Home Hardware. The event takes place Heritage Park at 560 Settlers Ridge in the north end of Peterborough, near the Riverview Park and Zoo.
