How does one achieve those haunting images of buildings that were new in the 19th and first half of the 20th centuries? Here is your chance to find out. We meet first at Perry and Park Streets (across from the Tim Hortons Drivethru). During the evening we can search the area for buildings and architecture that represent an era that has had its heyday and has been left behind. This is a black and white night, so investigate your camera beforehand to see if it will record in black and white (monochrome). Also you might practise trying to envision how an object would appear in black and white. Concentrate on noticing where shadows and highlights fall and keeping light and dark foremost in mind. You are urged to respect people's privacy and property of course, please keep to public areas.
