The prize package — worth over $500 — includes dinner for two at Parkhill on Hunter, a pair of tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld at his sold-out show at Peterborough Memorial Centre, and an overnight stay at Peterborough Inn & Suites (see “Description of Prizes and Contest Rules” for details).

Description of Prizes and Contest Rules

  • The prize package (total value $527) consists of:
    • Dinner for two — including two appetizers, two entrées, and two desserts (but excluding alchohol and gratuity) — courtesy of Parkhill on Hunter (value of $120, excluding alcohol and gratuity).
    • Two tickets — Gold Floor, Row AA — to the Seinfeld performance at the Peterborough Memorial Centre, courtesy of kawarthaNOW (value of $215)
    • One night of accommodation at Peterborough Inn & Suites, including free parking, wi-fi, and deluxe continental breakfast (value of $192)
  • One correct entry per day per contestant will be accepted, up to a maximum of nine correct entries per contestant. Entries must have the correct answer to be entered into the draw.
  • The contest closes on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at 5 p.m. Entries received after the contest closes will not be eligible for the draw.
  • After the contest closes, kawarthaNOW will draw one entry randomly from all eligible entries and will announce the winner after 6 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, April 24, 2014.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter.
  • The odds of winning depends on the number of entries received from each contestant and the total number of entries received from all contestants.
  • The winner must accept the prize package as awarded. There will be no cash or prize substitutions, and transfer or sale of any or all prizes is not allowed.
  • In the event that the winner does not accept the prize package as awarded, or if kawarthaNOW is unable to contact the winner within 24 hours after the contest closes, kawarthaNOW reserves the right to make another random draw to choose a new winner.
  • Employees and contributors to kawarthaNOW and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  • kawarthaNOW is not responsible for entries that are not received in the event of a technical error or any other occurrence or cause beyond its control.
  • kawarthaNOW reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this contest in the event of a technical failure, fraudulent activity that undermines the integrity of the contest, or any other occurrence or cause beyond its control.
  • The winner of the contest agrees to allow the contest sponsors (kawarthaNOW, Parkhill on Hunter, and Peterborough Inn and Suites) to publicly share his or her name (and Twitter account if provided), including on social media. The contest sponsors agree to not share any other personal information provided by the winner (email address or telephone number).
