Local celebrities Linda Kash and Michelle Ferreri joined the Peterborough Petes on the ice yesterday to announce the Community Counselling and Resource Centre (CCRC) is hosting the Petes’ first home playoff game against the North Bay Battalion on Tuesday, March 29.

Kash and Ferreri will be among the volunteers at the game raising awareness of the services CCRC provides.

There’ll also be a door prize of a team photograph of the Petes, signed by all of the players.

Chuck-a-puck tickets, with all proceeds going to CCRC, will be sold in the lobby for $2 each (or $5 for three or $10 for seven). The chuck-a-puck prize will be a Petes jersey signed by all of the players.

Fans can also enter a Twitter contest during the game, by following @CCRC_Ptbo, listening for a clip of music during one of the periods, and tweeting the name of the tune using the hashtag #jukeboxmania.

The winner of the Twitter contest will get two spots at the Peterborough Petes’ table at the “Juke Box Mania” fundraiser for CCRC on Friday, April 29.

Fans can enter a Twitter contest during the game to win two seats at the Peterborough Petes' table during a CCRC fundraiser in April. Other prizes to be won during the game include a Petes' team photo and a jersey signed by all the players
